Coaching for Graduate Students
The transition from undergraduate to graduate studies is a big one. While undergraduate education tends to have more structure and routine, graduate education requires a new level of independent learning that demands a new way of approaching your studies.
On top of your classes, you will likely be required to conduct research, teach classes, present at conferences, and work with faculty to attract grants to your department - all while planning your future career. These pressures and requirements can be overwhelming, to say the least.
While many graduate students have advisors and committees, these individuals aren’t always impartial and will often be the very people setting deadlines and standards. That’s why many graduate students can benefit from working with an academic coach - a trusted partner who can help you maximize your productivity while helping you stick to deadlines, reach and set goals, and act as an accountability partner to ensure you are not only surviving your studies - but thriving!
